I do not like to be wrong, but sometimes I am.
In an earlier post about PUC iPrep, a Mandarin and Spanish language immersion school opening in Eagle Rock this fall, I noted that their website and Facebook pages lacked Mandarin or Spanish outreach. There was no translation of the webpage or any of their information online at the time. This part was correct.
Since then, they have updated their website to be translated into Spanish and Mandarin.
In that post, I also pointed out that I hadn’t seen much in the way of translated documents and I questioned if they had even made any translated materials for outreach.
This was wrong of me. I should not have simply thrown that assertion out there without any request for documents. I made an assumption and I should have known better.
PUC iPrep has since provided these outreach documents that are clearly translated into both Spanish and Mandarin. It is clear that they upheld their promise to reach out in all three languages. I regret making this error, and I hope this clears things up.
